MEET THE FOUNDER
WHY I MADE JUHG
JOSIAH DABOH - Founder and CEO
Hey — I'm Josiah, the founder of JUHG. I'm from Boynton Beach, I go to UCF, and I've played sports for as long as I can remember.
Every water bottle I ever carried had the same problem: none of them actually felt built for my life. They weren't made for school and sports at the same time, and they never looked clean or elevated when I wanted them to. I wanted one bottle that could do all of it — the gym, the classroom, and the days you want to look put-together. So I built it. That's JUHG. (Yes, it's pronounced “jug.”)
But I didn't want to make a bottle that only benefited me. I wanted JUHG to stand for something bigger than a way to make money.
Sports gave me a healthy mindset on life and a competitive edge that still pushes me to elevate myself every day — and I believe every kid deserves that. The problem is a lot of kids never get the chance, because sports cost money a lot of families just don't have.
So I made a decision: JUHG gives $3 from every bottle — about 10% — to youth sports programs, to help more kids get in the game and build that same mindset. Same everyday quality as the $45 bottles, for a lot less, and it actually stands for something.
What JUHG stands for
- Built for school and sports — finally one bottle for both
- Clean enough to look elevated when you want to
- Honest pricing — $29.99, not $45
- $3 from every bottle (about 10%) goes to youth sports
- Backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee
This is bigger than a water bottle. Thanks for being here early — every one you carry helps a kid somewhere get in the game.
— Josiah, Founder of JUHG
